Biography:

Credits include playing sets from Detroit to Chicago to New York and L.A., Jonny 5 is what one would call a truly underground veteran dj in the Los Angeles Jungle music scene. So underground, he was once told that it was thought his name was an alias.

After discovering L.A.'s rave scene in 1992, 5 quickly found a love for the Breakbeat and House music played at these parties. Fast forward a few months and along came an event that would change the course of Jonny's life. He discovered Jungle. Soon after he met a dj named R.A.W.and rest is history.
In 1994 Jonny 5 co-released "Natural Born Junglists" with R.A.W. He then moved to New York where he began playing records at various parties undergrounds and bars in 4 of the 5 boroughs.

Upon returning to the west coast in 2007 Jonny has become a member of Dub Chamber Records and has produced tracks with Dub Chamber founder Sixfoot Unda as well as friend and mentor R.A.W.
